About Us

Kgomotso Occupational Therapy (Pty) Ltd, is a wholly Woman – Owned Private Occupational Therapy Practice. The business was established in 2013 and became operational in the same year.

The Company provides Occupational Therapy Services to a diversified clientele that include but not limited to; The Road Accident Fund, Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), Law Firms, Insurance Companies, The Compensation Fund – Department of Labour, Schools (Preschools and Primary Schools), Mining houses and Industry.

At present, therapists at Kgomotso OT are referred injured clients from private or state. Attorneys request an assessment of the functional abilities and/or restrictions of these clients, a written report on the assessment for legal use, to be available for consultation and, to testify as an expert witness.

Therapists are usually called in to assist in personal injury matters (such as Road Accident Fund Claims, Medical Malpractice or Civil Claims), labour law matters or contractual disputes matters (such as insurance policies or claims).

Our Value Proportion

The Company employs suitably qualified, skilled and experienced therapists and support personnel who share the same core values, espouse professional ethics, and display a high regard for human potential and development in a holistic and nurturing environment, by the use of latest technologies, equipment, tools and evidence-based best practices.

Our Staff

  • The company comprises of six (6) full-time employees excluding the owner and (3) three part- time employees.
  • The company also has independent contracting (Locum) Occupational Therapists that are called from time to time, as and when needed.

Our Referral Sources

Our primary referral sources are Law Firms, the Road Accident Fund and the Department of Labour- Compensation Fund.

Our secondary referral sources are Insurance Companies, Mining houses, Industry and Schools (Preschools and Primary Schools).

Our mission is to provide functional capacity evaluations, job fitness evaluations, work readiness determinations, medical negligence and/or medico-legal assessments and reporting, school readiness assessments, disability management and rehabilitation services in a compassionate, friendly and relaxed environment, for the improvement of the quality of life of our clients.
